Petition Praying for Individual(s)

The bottom, bottom line of those who you're praying for have had evil opposition in their history. Without exception - from generational iniquity prior to their conception, through the trauma and spiritual dynamics in the lives of their parents while in the womb, to the sin-cursed world system & sin, to traumas in their own lives. Regardless of their outer appearance and conduct, their heart has been broken, yielding at least a measure of brokenness in their life.

Therefore, the foundation of your prayer(s) for them target the HEART of the matter. Here is an effective declaration & proclamation aloud from your HEART - regardless of how near or far from them you are geographically.

Adopted from a Wayne C. Anderson prayer protocol:

"Please forgive me. I Love you.

Since before you were conceived in your mother’s womb:

you have been wanted, needed & deeply loved.

I've longed to see you in the heart of the Father, what He's hoped and designed for you uniquely.

..You, your unique gifting and gifts are wanted & needed.

I speak LIFE to your destiny & Holy Spirit intervention.

His Words of life abundant I invoke upon you – He is Truth.

His Name I invoke upon you – by His name, you find your identity.

His Being longs for you.

His love initiates life in you so that you also might love.

Yeshua has always wanted you, needed you & deeply loved you.

I am sorry for the hurt and pain around you & us.

I have always wanted you, needed you & deeply loved you.

Please forgive me. I Love you."

And if/when you are in proximity, periodically do 'a drive by,' drop a brief word of simple encouragement that they are loved, unique and wanted, with zero expectation of any positive response.

P.S. The following background from T. Austin-Sparks may simply be helpful:

"Christ's love compels us." (2 Cor. 5:14)

“He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity…”  (Psalms 78:38)

"The love of God shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit" (Rom. 5:5).

"Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them… Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other." (Rom. 12:9,10)

"'Jesus loved them [His disciples] unto the uttermost (John 13:1).'  And I think in that statement, there is the most wonderful thing that ever came into this world. Jesus had had a lot of trouble with those men. They had often misunderstood Him. They had often disappointed Him. They were really a very poor lot of men... He knew what a poor lot of men they were, but He loved them unto the uttermost. That is the first thing about this love. It is not offended by our failures. He does not withdraw His love because we make mistakes. We may often disappoint Him, we may often fail Him, we may often grieve His heart, but He goes on loving us. He loves us unto the uttermost, right to the end. He is not offended by our failures. That is a very different kind of love from our love. This is God's love in Christ...

"You know, it is so easy to talk about love, to pretend to love, to use the language of love, [to say in fear, 'I love you in Christ'], to sing hymns about love, and it can all be sentimental; perhaps we all know people who have told us that they love us, but very often they are the very people who have hurt us most. Now, the love of Jesus was not sentimental, it was practical. He did not go in with His disciples and say, 'Brothers, I do love you very much.' He showed that He loved them by what He did for them. It was not sentimental love, it was practical love. And this is the love with which He loved them unto the uttermost... These things which characterize the love of Christ for His own ought to characterize us in love for others. That is why the Holy Spirit has come. So that as He loved us to the uttermost, so ought we to love one another."

Perseverance in Prayer

Consider the widow's story who cried out to the unjust judge to avenge her enemy. He finally answered her after she wore him down with her continual appeals. This is a picture of perseverance in prayer. This is where your battle will be won, rather than through your performance or your skill.  "This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts" (Zech 4:6).  Our Father is a just God who does not relate to you is the unjust judge in that story. Our heavenly Father is actually cheering you on to continue to appeal to Him to defeat your adversaries.  Jesus (Yeshua) is also interceding on your behalf.  There is a court in heaven where Jesus (Yeshua) presents the petitions of God’s sons and daughters. Keep praying. Don’t quit. It is the lifeblood of your calling with Him.

“Then the Lord said, ‘Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to His chosen people who cry out to Him day and night? …I tell you, He will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will He find on earth who have faith?’”   (Luke 18:6-8)

Confession Prayer Aloud is Planting Seed That Will Inevitably Produce the Fruit of Faith Within You

Different from a prayer of petition, consider the parable of the sower at Mark Chapter 4. “Jesus said, ‘If you can’t understand the meaning of this parable, how will you understand all the other parables? (verse 13)’”  As the farmer, we plant God’s Word (seed) in our hearts (the ground); we water it (the seed) by ‘the water of the word’ continuing to confess it aloud (Rom. 10:17). Like farmers, we harvest in a different season than we plant. “We don’t even know how it works (Mk. 4:27),” but it germinates in our heart and inevitably produces the “green stalk” (verses 28, 29) of faith—specific faithspecific to the Word of God (His promises) that we confessed. It works every time!  See also Romans 1:17.

That is when we come to know that we know that we know, that we know in our heart of hearts (experience revelation) that we have received what we’ve been sowing (confessing aloud) into (Mark 11:24; Rom. 1:17; Jas. 5:15; 1 John 5:14-15). It isn’t until then that we pray the “prayer of faith.” We pray the prayer of faith once we are in faith.

Petition Praying for Yourself Protocols

The bottom, bottom line is you have had evil opposition in your history. Without exception - from generational iniquity prior to your conception, through the trauma and spiritual dynamics in the lives of your parents while in the womb, to the sin-cursed world system & sin, to traumas in your own life. Regardless of your outer appearance and conduct, your heart has been broken, yielding at least a measure of brokenness in your life.

Therefore, the foundation of your prayers for yourself targets the HEART of the matter. The owner of this website, along with the Holy Spirit, has crafted a Bible study that unmasks the dynamics that broke your heart and, therefore, offers how to craft personalized, effective prayer for yourself.  As a good start, here is a sample Chapter, downloadable free of charge.

And, please be aware that we followers of Jesus are behind enemy lines. In truth, we cannot be spectators but must learn to pray and fight as soldiers. We have a cunning, desperate enemy who lives to bind us, ensnare us, and “steal, kill, and destroy” us through false accusation. Here are several effective ‘now’ prayers against the enemy’s calculated, false accusations, when needed.

One additional aspect of enemy opposition in many of our lives is the occult or powerful evil from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. It is a counterfeit to the purely good, righteous-in-love power of The Holy One—our Father God.  Here is an effective daily prayer protocol of protection.

“For His divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who has called us to glory and goodness. And by that same mighty power, He has given to us exceeding great and precious promises; that by these you all might be partakers of the Divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2 Peter1:3-4)  There are 750 promises in the New Testament alone.

The Prayer That Unlocks All Promises

This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, ‘The just shall live by faith.’”  (Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Habakkuk 2:4)
