Promises in Psalms

 

 

 

 

 

Ten Promises of Psalm 34

1.     The angel of the Lord encamps around about them who [reverently] fear Him, and delivers them (Psalm 34:7).

2.     There is no want to them who [reverently]fear Him (Psalm 34:9; Psalm 84:11; Luke 11:9-11).

3.     They who seek the Lord shall not want any good thing (Psalm 34:10; Matthew 7:11).

4.     The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry (Psalm 34:10,15,17; John 15:7).

5.     The face of the Lord is against those who do evil (Psalm 34:16).

6.     The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles (Psalm 34:17; note, Psalm 34:6).

7.     The Lord is close to those whose heart is broken, and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18).

8.     Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivers him out of them all (Psalm 34:19).

9.     Evil shall slay the wicked: and those who hate the righteous shall be desolate (Psalm 34:21).

10.        The Lord redeems the soul of His servants:  and none of those who trust in Him shall be desolate (Psalm 34:22).

 

 

 

Twenty-five Promises of Psalm 37

1.    Dwell in the land forever (Psalm 37:3,29).

2.     Be fed (Psalm 37:3).

3.     Give you desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4).

4.     Bring things to pass (Psalm 37:5).

5.     Bring righteousness to light (Psalm 37:6).

6.     Bring judgment as noonday.

7.     Evildoers be cut off (Psalm 37:9,20,22,34,38).

8.     Earth as an inheritance (Psalm 37:9,11,22,29,34; Matthew 5:5).

9.     Abundance of peace (Psalm 37:11).

10.   Upheld by God (Psalm 37:17,24).

11.   Eternal inheritance (Psalm 37:18).

12.   Not be ashamed in evil times (Psalm 37:19).

13.   Satisfied in time of famine.

14.   Not be cast down in a fall (Psalm 37:24).

15.   Not forsaken by God (Psalm 37:28).

16.   Preservation by God forever.

17.   Seed of wicked cut off.

18.   None of steps shall slide (Psalm 37:31).

19.   Lord will not give over to the wicked (Psalm 37:33).

20.   Lord will not condemn.

21.   In the end will have peace (Psalm 37:37).

22.   Salvation (Psalm 37:39-40).

23.   Strength from God in trouble (Psalm 37:39).

24.   Help from God (Psalm 37:40).

25.   Deliverance from the wicked.

 

 

Twenty-three Promises of Psalm 91

1.    You shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1).

2.     Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler (Psalm 91:3).

3.     Surely He shall deliver you from the noisome pestilence.

4.     He shall cover you with His feathers (Psalm 91:4).

5.     His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

6.     You shall not be afraid of the terror by night (Psalm 91:5).

7.     You shall not be afraid of the arrow that flieth by day.

8.     You shall not be afraid of the pestilence that walks in darkness (Psalm 91:6).

9.     You shall not be afraid of that which destroys at noonday.

10.   Though 1,000 fall at your left and 10,000 at your right, it shall not come near you (Psalm 91:7).

11.   Only with your eyes will you see the reward of the wicked (Psalm 91:8).

12.   There shall no evil befall you (Psalm 91:10).

13.   There shall no plague come near your dwelling.

14.   God shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11).

15.   They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone (Psalm 91:12).

16.   You shall tread upon the lion, adder, young lion, and dragon (Psalm 91:13).

17.   God will deliver him (Psalm 91:14,15).

18.   Will set him on high.

19.   Will answer him (Psalm 91:15).

20.   Will be with him in trouble.

21.   Will honor him.

22.   Will satisfy him with long life (Psalm 91:16).

23.   Will show him His salvation.
